I'm the Mid-Level Backend Developer at at Stratus. Before that, I was a Jr. Software Developer at Adaptworks. I'm originally from Brazil and now living in Sao Paulo with my amazing family.

Gusttavo Castro is a Backend Software Developer focused on designing and operating scalable systems in production environments. He works across the full backend lifecycle — from database modeling and API design to containerized deployments and production reliability. Experienced with event-driven architectures and distributed systems, he builds maintainable services using solid architectural principles while balancing scalability, performance and delivery speed. Currently working as a Developer Experience Engineer at code.dev, contributing to platform architecture and system evolution.
